Baptisms and Baby Naming Ceremonies
In welcoming a child to a family, we celebrate one of life’s continuing miracles. We rejoice and share that happiness with our community of family and friends. Whether you choose to do so with a lovely Naming Ceremony or a more Traditional Baptism Service, your intention is the same. As parents you are announcing to the world your love for your child and also your hopes and dreams for their life. Additionally, you are giving your family and friends the opportunity to do the same.
The ceremony you choose for your child will be created specifically for all of you. It will reflect your feelings and beliefs and honor the traditions of your faith, including customs specific to your family and background. Contact Reverend Pamela and she will assist you in creating the ideal ceremony to welcome your child!

If a child lives with criticism, they learn to condemn.
If a child lives with hostility, they learn to fight.
If a child lives with ridicule, they learn to be shy.
If a child lives with shame, they learn to feel guilty.
If a child lives with tolerance, they learn to be patient.
If a child lives with encouragement, they learn confidence.
If a child lives with praise, they learn to appreciate.
If a child lives with fairness, they learn justice.
If a child lives with security, they learn to have faith.
If a child lives with approval, they learn to like themselves.
If a child lives with acceptance and friendship,
they learn to find love in the world.
